Annual Get Together Mangla

A wonderful dinner was arranged by Tariq Khan on the Sunset Park of Mangla. Although a large number of course mates attended the main event of the get together on September 30, 2012 on the raft in the Mangla Dam Lake, a sizeable number from them had arrived a day earlier for an overnight stay at Mangla and to attend the dinner. Very detailed and elaborate arrangements had been made by Tariq Khan's staff and headquarters accommodating everyone in guest rooms both in Mangla Garrison and at Jhelum Garrison Mess.
He also mentioned of Maj Arshad's absence, who is a regular participant in all course gatherings, as he had gone to Lahore on his nephew's marriage. The good news of promotion of Mohsin Amir in the grade 20 were also broken, who is presently working in NADRA.
Ihtesham got late and arrived after the ceremnony was almost over - but it was pleasure to see him and everyone welcomed him with open arms and embraces.

Great show beautifully covered by our own mrdia.Jalal n Shirazi the great. I saw all the pictures with glowing and smiling faces. Tariq Khan deserves great appreciation for creating such heavens on earth! Thanks to Jamal Zia for a wonderful dinner n claps n hugs for Asif for all he does to keep us informed. Great show.thanks for sharing Jalal n Shirazi. I saw all the pictures n strongly felt as part of it.It took me back few years. Fealt so nice to see some friends after a long time. Well done Tariq Khan for arranging a heavens in Mangla.You deserve great appreciation. Jamal Zia your generosity for arranging the dinner would always be remembered. A big hug and appreciation for Asif for keeping everyone informed and updated. I always love Course get togethers n had a glimps of it during my some of the visits at Rawalpindi n Lahore, you guys are so loving, hospitable n have such fun, I love it. Thanks. Jamil Canada

What a party what a party. I was sooooo unlucky to have missed it.Having started off for Mangla on 29th Oct I was compelled to turn back from Muridke due to unexpected trouble with my car. Thanks Shirazi for some compensation in the form of the wonderful coverage of this colorful event.
