How many Valentines do you have?
Saturday, 9 February 2013
Valentine is approaching and young people are preparing to celebrate. Valentine’s Day’s vibrancy and emotional connections are all in the air. I have a few questions for this festive occasion? No, it is not about the numbers, cost of chocolates, red roses, teddy bears, e-cards, greeting cards or other gifts that will be exchanged on the day. Nether it is about cheating your spouses and saying this to someone else just for the occasion?
On another note, I have had so many Valentines in the past. Muhammad Aldil Mulki has documented all of them for me here. And note the warning, don't come near me, or you will be the next valentine [Image by Tribune].

Valentine day is the most expensively celebrated day on earth, but the true meaning for valentine does not depend on expensive gifts, chocolates, roses or teddy bears but the strong emotional bond in heart mentally and physically. All materialistic things are temporary in love but what you have in heart for your other half is all about valentine and if love is in heart with understanding, care and respect all through year would be valentine :-)

I'm a little late in commenting here, but love has no timeline does it? :) Over the years, I've come to look at days like Valentine's Day as a focus day of how we should live each day. Love our friends, neighbors and do it globally, not just in our own countries. Being in love is not the same thing though. It could be fleeting or eternal.
