Rest in peace Irfan Ali
Saturday, 12 January 2013
Irfan Ali was a human rights activist and TEDx speaker. I remember meeting Irfan during Social Media Mela held in Karachi last year (July 2012). His smiling face will always remain etched in my memory. “He always stood up for the vulnerable and was on his toes all the time to serve humanity,” recalls Faizan, Irfan’s friend. A member of the viciously targeted Shia sect, Irfan, was very enthusiastic, gentle-natured and a dedicated supporter of peace and justice. His gentle presence will be sorely missed by us all,” says Insani Huqooq Itehad.
