Constitutional Change
Sunday, 26 September 2010
Is flood bringing in change? No. Flood is not bringing that constitutional change we keep hearing about in all evening shows and in the statements of everyone. Though the victims of recent floods are now destitute and are cursing the top leadership openly but, resilient as they are, they have always been sacrificing on one pretext or the other. They will live through this difficult time as well.
The only constitutional change inside the parliament I can think of is the removal of the Prime Minister goes. At present, no one has vote bank in the parliament to bring ‘No Confidence Move’ and remove him. The only possibility is to remove the prime Minister technically. He can be asked why he (his government) has failed to implement the judicial decisions in true letter and spirit.
This will leave us with numerous daunting questions? What next? Rather who is the next?

One goes and the other comes in Pakistan :)
Musharraf went and Zardari came. After him another like him may come BUT the people are no more fool. Its time to change. The unsincere will not be able to cope here Insha Allah ! - At 10:39 PM PKT, said...

Only one suffering while they prepare ground for so called change is us - the poor people. Look who remembers those who are displaced by flood waters and are living under trees.
