All Good News Break in America

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar was arrested earlier this month in Karachi in what is being interpreted as a major blow to the Taliban Movement. Learning about the arrest from a story published in NY Times, I was wondering how the story broke in America when thee arrest took place in Karachi. What was local ‘independent’ media doing? I was wondering?

But how did he reach Karachi in the first place? What were Pakistan security forces doing when he traveled? Or should I assume that all this is a big game only we don't know...

We found out about it yesturday.
The media put it on the news the minute they found out. It was repeated many times during the night. I was so happy to hear that. Good news for sure. -
