Lahore is Again Under Terrorists' Attack

Once again terrorists attacked three security forces buildings in Lahore today (October 15, 2009). As per initial reports, terrorists targeted Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) building, Manawa Police Training Centre and Eliot Force Training Centre situated at Bedian Road.
Manawa training centre is situated some five kilometre away from Bedian and FIA building, Eliot Force Training Centre and Manawa Police Training Centre have today been targeted simultaneously.
The ongoing wave of terror continues throughout the country: In addition to attack on Lahore, a suicide bomber hit a police station in the Sadar area of Kohat. At least 37 people have died in the latest strike, including at least 19 police officers and 13 militants. Pakistan's Taliban movement claimed responsibility for the assault. In the past six days, at least 120 people have been killed in four major terrorist attacks. The jump in violence comes as Pakistan's security forces plan to pursue the Taliban in South Waziristan near the Afghan border.
