Most Dangerous Web Celebrity

Search statistics show that people search for celebrities. Ironically, this can be dangerous for their computers. “Searching for Jessica Biel is most likely to get your computer infected with spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware hosted on these sites,” excuse me, the McAfee’s Third Annual Report reveals, “previously Brad Pitt was the most dangerous web celebrity and now Jessica Biel tops the list.” Beyoncé maintained her #2 slot, and continues as the overall most frequent followed by Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale and Lindsay Lohan, Heidi Montag and Jessica Alba.

Report reads that you search for “Jessica Biel” or “Jessica Biel downloads,” “Jessica Biel wallpaper,” “Jessica Biel screen savers,” “Jessica Biel photos” and “Jessica Biel videos” and have a one in five chance (a huge 20% chance!) of landing at a web site that’s tested positive for online threats, such as spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware.”

McAfee list of 15 top most risky celebrities to search online are Jessica Biel, Beyoncé, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady, Jessica Simpson, Gisele Bundchen, Miley Cyrus, Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie, Ashley Tisdale and Brad Pitt.

Go ahead and search them if you have to.
