Bloggers’ Meet
October 06, 2008
Let me be ethnocentric here, bloggers are better humans. I discovered this once again when I had a chance to meet Muhammad Yaqoob (NY Mafia fame). Very articulate personality and having lot of aces up his sleeves, he is new to blogsphere but I can see him going places already. He has many advantages over many of us; he is tech savvy, he has already integrated Internet into his life, he know art of marketing and is a reputed trainer. See his profile here. What else, he is nice to talk to.
What we talked? Of course blogging, what else. And I am glad.

'Blogging is like an addition'- I never understood the true meaning of this phrase before I met Yaqoob. He not only introduced me to the unique world of networking through blogging but guided me in making my blog effective and useful.
His constant encouragement not only has made me an addict to blogging but have made me realise the importance of sharing one's thoughts and knowledge with all.
All the best for an informative and fruitful bloggers meet up!
Farah.

Hi, I met Yaqoob a three months back in cyberia; found him highly affable. He introduced me to blogsphere; kept on insisting to start one. Finally he spared time to create my blog himself. I have yet to feed material into it. Although, I have done nothing to take care of my blog, I have earned $0.85. I am convinced if I act upon advice of Yaqoob, money must flow in.
I am thankful to my blog mentor:)

What are blog(s) to Me?
This blog is a resource for my thoughts. More often, I blog form impressions and or generate ideas to see how they invoke reactions, to keep track of others’ work in the fields of my interests, or simply to rant or point out things that come to my attention.
Also, I use blogging as a platform to prune ideas. This is where I meet others. And “I am neither geek, nor nerd, I am not a hacker, a phreaker, a programmer or any variety of technoid dweeb.”
What are blog(s) to you?
Internet is a lonely place without Blogs; a fine art and economics. Blogs are different to different people. I usually ask blogger friends to share their views on what is a blog to them?
Contribute your thoughts on blogging in general. In particular, write how you blog? Why? How blogging matters in life and work? Answer these questions and more (add what you feel is important dimension for you) and share {sajshirazi(at)gmail.com} here.
